On August 30, 2023, the Silicon Industry Branch announced the latest price of solar-grade polysilicon.

The transaction price of N-type material is 9.00-950,000 yuan/ton, with an average of 913 million yuan/ton, and the average price rose by 2.47% on a weekly basis.

The transaction price of single-crystalline compound feeding is 760-80,000 yuan/ton, with an average price of 81,000 yuan/ton, and the average price is 5.05% month-on-month.

The transaction price of single crystal dense materials is 740-84 million yuan/ton, with an average of 79,200 yuan/ton, and the average price rose 5.46% month-on-month.

The transaction price of single-crystalline cauliflower is 715-20 million yuan/ton, with an average of 76,300 yuan/ton, and the average price increased by 5.83% on a weekly basis.

This is the seventh overall increase in the price of polysilicon since July, and also the ninth increase in the price of n-type materials.

Compared with the price on August 23, it is found that under the influence of market supply and demand, the overall transaction range of n-type materials has moved up and more concentrated, and orders under 90,000 yuan/ton have disappeared. In the future, there is potential for further price increases, and the increase is expected to expand next week; the transaction price of p-type materials is relatively scattered, and the overall increase is moving up. This week is expected to be large. The increase will be narrowed next week.

In terms of silicon wafers, following the latest price of monocrystalline silicon wafers announced by TCL Central on August 21, Longji Green Energy also updated the price of silicon wafers on August 25, with a quotation of 3.38 yuan/W for 182mm silicon wafers. Compared with the end of July, the increase reached 15.36%.

At the same time, the price of glass and other auxiliary materials has also risen. According to the manufacturer’s 3.2mm glass price increase of 3 yuan/m2 and 2.0mm glass price increase of 2 yuan/m2, this alone, the cost of single-sided components increased by 1.3-1.5 points/W, and the cost of double-sided components increased by 1.5-1.8 points/W.
